We’re working with a brand strategy consultancy who are looking for an Account Director to join their team. They’re looking for someone with experience working on quant-led projects and a grounding in insights.
They’re a dynamic, boutique consultancy who work on brand strategy and innovation projects across FMCG, tech, media, consumer health, spirits and alcohol, with retail accounting for an emerging part of what they do. They work with blue chip clients like Unilever, Samsung, Tesco, but start-ups as well.
They have a flat hierarchy, people at all levels are encouraged to bring interesting ideas to the table, and they work on some of the most interesting briefs: developing brands from scratch, innovation pipelines, brand stretch, assessing how luxury is changing and its implications.
The ideal candidate will lead major engagements, love autonomy, and is happy designing a journey, not just following prescribed steps. It’s someone with presence, who has experience leading workshops, senior client sessions, and teams.
They really want someone who can come in and hit the ground running, someone who has consultancy experience – and as such is used to juggling strategic thinking, content creation, collaboration and client management.
At the same time the ideal candidate will have a solid background in insight, and be ‘literate’ in a number of different areas, someone who could look at trends, numbers and softer insight and be able to weave a story together.
