We’re working with a Global Cultural Insight Agency that has an exciting new opening for an Agency Director to join and lead their New York and/or Los Angeles teams.
  • The Client

    • Highly reputable 14-year-old business with recent investment and big ambitions for 2022.
    • Offices in Europe, North America and APAC, handling global projects across 60+ markets.
    • A multidisciplinary team of researchers, futurists, strategists, writers, designers and filmmakers, delivering insight at the intersection of culture and brands.
    • Working with iconic brands such as Apple, Netflix, MTV, Spotify, Sonos, Patagonia, Converse and Peroni.
  • The Opportunity

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the agency’s senior management team, leading on growth plans for their US offer. You will tap into your entrepreneurial spirit to really shape and build something, with all the backing and credibility of a highly regarded business.

    Currently 5 people in New York, they have plans to double in size before the end of the year, as well as launch a Los Angeles office by Q3. You will add leadership and commercial acumen to the business, playing a pivotal role in strengthening existing, and winning new accounts, through shaping propositions, onboarding talent and amplifying the quality and visibility of the team’s work.

  • The Candidate

    The ideal Agency Director will

    • Be an ambitious Junior Director or Research Director, looking to step up into a position with high career growth potential
    • Have a background in cultural insight, trends or foresight work from a leading agency
    • Have experience developing teams, ensuring excellence across client relationship management and, quality of thinking and work
    • Have a demonstrable track record of strengthening existing client relationships, and forging new ones, through talent, mastery and showcasing work.
    • Have the ability to propagate positive collaboration on pitches, live projects and working practices between the New York and Los Angeles offices, and with the wider group
