  • The Purpose of the Role:

    This is an exciting new role which ultimately has been created to help this consultancy leverage it’s research expertise and consultancy experience in and beyond it’s current marketplace. You will do this through a mix of collaboration on existing initiatives, spotting opportunities to tender for research funding to contribute to policies, proposing new publication ideas, editing and drafting articles, identifying dissemination outlets, and spearheading long-term research projects, ultimately helping the consultancy to expand the applications of it’s knowledge base.

  • The role is packed with impactful responsibilities:

    • Craft and implement a killer publications strategy for maximum visibility and impact in the legal sector.
    • Coordinate the writing, editing, and proofreading of compelling articles and research papers.
    • Team up with experts to make complex info digestible for different audiences.
    • Stay on top of the latest trends in employment and labour markets.
    • Find the perfect outlets for publication‚ÄĒjournals, conferences, online platforms, you name it.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key media contacts to showcase their expertise.
    • Collaborate with the research team on funding proposals and grant applications.
    • Keep a sharp eye on potential funding sources and ensure timely submissions.
  • And that's not all!

    After some training, dive into assisting with independent expert reports:

    • Conduct primary and secondary research.
    • Interpret and analyse data, drawing logical conclusions.
    • Research salary info and crunch the numbers for various occupations.

    Who they’re looking for: ideally you will have touched on research evidence for policy informing, have an understanding of the legal profession and an interest/experience of editing/writing/ publishing and are a great Project Manager!
