The Company:

A World-Class Consultancy, who specialise in bespoke media research, is looking for an ambitious Qualitative Research Manager and Senior Research Executive to join their growing London team.

The Role: Research Manager & Senior Research Executive

Specialising in qualitative research, the Senior Research Executive or Research Manager will work collaboratively with the consultancy and quantitative teams, providing fundamental advice to some of the biggest names in the industry. This consultancy work with the likes of Netflix, the BBC and Google, providing them with premium market research.  You will use a blend of face to face and online methodologies, such as workshops, focus groups, ethnography, immersive depths and semiotics, to answer complex client questions. Most projects have an international element to them. Responsibilities include:

  • Working on qualitative projects from beginning to end including contributing to proposals, designing research materials, managing suppliers, liaising with clients, analysis and delivering recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the consultancy and quantitative teams, pulling insight from multiple angles.
  • Support with business developments activities, attending industry events and conferences.
  • Contribute to maintaining best practice across the business.

The Candidate:

The ideal Senior Research Executive or Research Manager will be well versed with qualitative market research, with exposure to projects from beginning to end, have a flair for building client relationships, and the ambition to take ownership of projects. Experience of working with media clients is preferred, but not essential. An interest in the sector media is a must. The role is a qualitative position, but you will get the opportunity to work collaboratively with the consultancy and quantitative team, depending on your preference and personal aspirations. Key requirements:

  • Experience of running qualitative research projects end to end.
  • Knowledge of online and offline qualitative methodologies. Moderation experience is preferred.
  • Experience or a strong interest in working for media clients.
  • Adept at working in a team environment.
  • Degree-level education (2:1 or 1st)
