“Very professional and highly effective at understanding our recruitment needs. Rudy takes the time to fully understand the requirements of each role, the team dynamics, and the qualities we are looking for in candidates, which consistently leads to strong and relevant recommendations. Communication is always clear, proactive, and timely, and they are quick to respond to any questions or changes throughout the hiring process. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving requirements make a real difference, particularly when working within tight timelines. Great support, dedication, and excellent partnership.”

About Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren is one of the world’s most recognised lifestyle brands, with a retail footprint spanning EMEA, North America, and APAC. The business was in the middle of a multi-year global ERP transformation programme, rebuilding how its core systems and retail operations work together across more than 1,500 stores worldwide.

The Challenge

Ralph Lauren needed two Senior Business Process Managers to sit inside the transformation programme: one permanent hire focused on Store Operations, and one on a fixed-term contract focused on Digital.

Both roles needed the same rare combination: deep, hands-on retail operations credibility, paired with real exposure to ERP transformation programmes. Neither on its own was enough. Too much IT background and a candidate would lack the retail instinct to challenge system design when it didn’t reflect how stores actually work. Too much pure retail background and they’d struggle to operate inside a structured SAP programme with global stakeholders.

The market had already tried and failed to solve this. Ralph Lauren had no one in their pipeline when they brought us in, despite the roles being live for some time.

Our Approach

We mapped a wide field of retailers, from luxury houses to major high street names, targeting people who’d built their careers in retail operations but had also worked close to an ERP or SAP transformation. That’s a narrow overlap, so the search had to be broad.

We sourced 46 candidates against the brief and screened them down to six who went forward for interview. Two of those were hired.

The Result

Both roles were filled within a couple of months of being briefed: a Senior Business Process Manager covering Store Operations, and a Senior Business Process Manager covering Digital. One has already started. The second joins this month.
