Nicholson Glover started life in 2002, just after the dot-com bubble burst. Francis Nicholson and Alice Glover suddenly found themselves without an employer, so they did what many of the best entrepreneurs do: they turned a tough moment into an opportunity. That opportunity became Nicholson Glover, launched from a kitchen table with a phone, a big dose of optimism, and a focus on research and insight.

As the world changed, so did we. The physical CV cabinet moved to the cloud. Rolodexes became LinkedIn connections. Email replaced envelopes. But our commitment to understanding people and markets has stayed exactly the same.

Over the years, our specialisms have grown too. What began with research and insight now spans data and analytics, strategy, product and innovation, all built around the same belief: great decisions start with great people.

In 2017, Rudy Fernando became a shareholder after working his way up through the business. Today, Nicholson and Fernando lead the company together, staying true to the values that shaped those early kitchen-table days.

And while recruitment has changed a lot since 2002, the things that matter here haven’t. We’re still curious. We’re still honest and helpful. And we still believe in long-term relationships over short-term wins.
