DevOps Engineer | AI Tech Start-Up.

  • £85,000 DOE
We’re partnered with an innovative AI scale-up that is growing quickly and looking to hire a hands-on DevOps Engineer focused on AI deployment to help deliver cutting-edge agent-based solutions into complex client environments.
  • The Company

This fast-growing business sits at the forefront of applied AI, working with major organisations to build and deploy intelligent systems that solve real operational challenges.

With a strong product roadmap and a collaborative culture, they offer the chance to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced, forward-thinking engineering team.

  • The Role

This is a DevOps-centric, client-facing engineering role focused on getting AI systems—particularly agent-based solutions—successfully deployed into customer environments.

You’ll work across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise setups, navigating real-world constraints (networking, security, Kubernetes clusters, containerised workloads, etc.) and collaborating directly with clients to get solutions up and running.

You’ll work closely with senior engineering leadership to support deployments, contribute to agent-driven product builds, and ensure smooth delivery across varied technical landscapes.

  • The Candidate

Key attributes of the suitable DevOps Engineer (AI Deployment) include:

    • Deployment & Delivery Experience – Hands-on experience deploying software or platforms into client environments (on-premise, hybrid or cloud).
    • DevOps Foundations – Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes (both essential), plus comfort working across different cloud providers and networking constraints.
    • Interest in AI & Agents – Not a pure ML role—just curiosity or side projects involving AI agents, LLM tools, or automation frameworks.
    • Client-Facing Mindset – Confidence working directly with customers, understanding their environments, and guiding them through deployment and solution delivery.
    • Growth Mentality – 2+ years’ experience in DevOps, infrastructure, platform engineering or forward-deployed engineering roles.

This is your chance to build something from the ground up. You’ll lead the creation of products that help brands truly understand why consumers make the choices they do. If you’ve ever wanted to shape a data-led business, not just manage one, this is it.
            • 🚀 About the Company

Our client is a strategy and behavioural insight consultancy that helps global brands like HSBC, Danone and Shell decode human decision-making.

Rooted in the work of Daniel Kahneman, their frameworks uncover the subconscious motivations behind consumer behaviour… and translate them into growth strategies.

Now, they’re entering a new chapter: transforming their consultancy IP into automated insight products. Think dashboards that don’t just show what people do… but why.

With backing from board advisors like the CMO of Boots and ex-CEO of John Lewis Partnership, they’re on a mission to redefine how behavioural data powers marketing and media decisions.

            • 💡 The Day-to-Day

You’ll be the bridge between consulting and product, shaping the roadmap for automated ad testing, retail media analytics, and behavioural tracking tools.

              Expect to:

              • Turn behavioural models into scalable data products.
              • Define product vision and oversee prototypes and MVPs.
              • Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and client teams.
              • Ensure outputs are intuitive, actionable, and commercially powerful.
              •  Work directly with major brands like Shell and HSBC.

            • 🎯 The Ideal Candidate

You’re a strategic product thinker with commercial instincts and empathy for clients.

You thrive where psychology meets data, and you can turn a spark of behavioural insight into a tangible product that clients love.

              • 7–10 years’ experience in product, insight, or data strategy.
              • Comfortable bridging tech, data, and business needs.
              • Structured, proactive, and curious… with a growth mindset.

With board visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to shape global strategy—this is a dream job for someone who thrives on impact.

                      • About the Company

Our client is a global lifestyle brand at the intersection of culture, creativity, and consumer obsession. In recent years, they’ve doubled down on becoming a truly insight-led organisation. This role sits at the heart of that transformation—where business meets style, and data drives direction.

You’ll enjoy building stories from complex data sets, have a commercial instinct, and a flair for luxury fashion. You won’t be managing a team (yet), so confidence running your own work and influencing upwards is key.

If you’re a proven insights leader from retail, luxury, or FMCG—and want a seat at the table—this is your moment.
